Founded in 2014, the Center for Wellness Leadership (CWL) is a non-profit organization providing communities with educational resources and research to achieve optimal wellbeing through Complementary, Alternative and Integrative Medicine.

The misson of CWL is to “envision a knowledgeable and inspired society in which everyone recognizes their ability to take control of their health. Through education and research, we aim to accelerate the science and awareness of mainstream medical therapies combined with efficacious complementary and alternative medicine.”

It is my pleasure to support this work of CWL through serving on their Advisory Board.

The CWL Symposium held on Saturday October 29th, 2016 at the Hannaford Lecture Hall at the University of Southern Maine is about the topic of integrative health in athletic performance.

The day will be spent with CAM Practitioner Presentations, Open Panel with Professional Athletes, Lunchtime Poster Presentation, Exhibitors, and more, all exploring an approach to complementary and alternative therapies as a complement to conevetional medicine in sports.

Along with my colleague, Nancy Frederick R.S.Hom(Na), CCH I am proud to be presenting a talk on the Homeopathic Approach to Sports Injury Prevention and Treatment.

The Symposium will be held Saturday, October 29th from 8:15 am – 2:30 pm at Hannaford Lecture Hall on the Portland Campus of the University of Southern Maine. The event is open to the public and FREE to USM students. Tickets are $39.00. Click here to register.

If this topic has applications in your life I would love to see you there!

All the best,

Dr Kotzur
